Princesses and Princes          1 week          $150.00
(No dance experience necessary)
~Ages 5-7         June 17-21          9:30am-1:00pm~

(EBA Faculty)
Discover the joy, fun and creativity of dance through the ballet stories of Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, the Nutcracker and more.  It’s a fantastic experience for boys and girls to dance, move, and create. Students will learn about the dance characters they meet in the fairytales and help craft their own costumes and props for their end-of-camp performance. Come join the fun and develop basic movement comfort, rhythm skills, musicality, coordination, and spatial awareness while being transported through a magical world of dance! Don’t miss the final showcase performance for family and friends on the last day of camp.

Learn all about musical theatre in a fun and encouraging environment. The week offers children a hands-on theatrical experience where they will learn to sing and dance to familiar musical theatre favorites such as Annie, Peter Pan, Sound of Music and more.   Join the fun and develop basic movement comfort, rhythm skills, musicality, coordination, and spatial awareness! Come see your star perform in the Spotlight the last day of camp. Be sure to bring your cameras!

 

Beginning/Intermediate Camp: A Dancer’s Journey $225
~Ages 8-11   July 8-12   9:00am-1:00pm ~
Pre-Requisite:  2 years of Ballet technique. 

Designed for the Beginning to Intermediate student, this camp offers an in-depth look into the world of dance. This is a wonderful opportunity to widen the developing dancer’s repertoire and knowledge of dance through exposure to different dance styles including, Ballet technique, Character, Salsa, and Musical Theatre.  Inspiring classes and activities will provide the young dancer with a glimpse and experience into the life of a professional dancer.  From class to rehearsal, to the final stage, fully adorned in make-up and costume, we invite you to share in the journey.  Come see your star perform in the Showcase the last day of camp. Be sure to bring your cameras!

 

Intermediate and Advanced Intensive
~Ages:  11 and up    August 12-17, Mon-Sat~ 
Intermediate Pre-Requisite: 4 years of ballet technique.

Advanced Pre-Requisite:  5 years of ballet technique, 2 years of pointe.    

Full day:  9:00-4:00   $375 (For Intermediate and Advanced)
Half day option:  9:00-12:00   $200 (For Advanced only)

Audition is not required.  Placement in the Intermediate or Advanced level will be determined during the first technique class of the Intensive.~ Designed for the aspiring dancer, this camp is an intensive week filled with educational and inspirational dance opportunities.  Classes are taught by renowned artists in the field from the Eugene Ballet Company, Eugene Ballet Academy faculty and dance professionals in the community.  Ballet Technique, Pointe & Variations, Modern, Jazz, Yoga, Core Conditioning, Principles of Choreography, and Partnering are among the class offerings with lecture seminars on a variety of topics including injury prevention, nutrition, and “secrets of a professional dancer”. Dancers will showcase their work at the end of the week, so be sure to bring your cameras! 

 

PRINCE & PRINCESSES & IN THE SPOT LIGHT CAMP SCHEDULES, ages 5-7 & 7-10   $150.00      

Wear comfortable clothing, dance attire not required though soft dance shoe recommended.

Intermediate and Advanced Ballet Intensive   $375   
(Ages 11+ with a minimum 4yrs ballet training & 2yrs of pointe required)
